Did you know that Avenstar Productions is producing their first movie? If not, welcome to the Openings – the feature film production. In fact, we have been at it for close to a year and a half – and we’re almost finished. With close to 150 cast, producers, writers, support personnel, this film is so much more than a group effort – it’s more like one big family effort. The costs have taken their toll and to complete this film by late Summer, the producers have started a grass-roots campaign to help make the finishing touches in production (just a few more shoots necessary) and then all the final editing, color correcting, sound work, music composing… the list goes on and on. So please take a look at our Kickstarter.com post (click here). Just one day into this campaign we are already at 7% of our goal of $7000. That is pretty amazing and just goes to show the loyalty of our followers/friends/ and family – as well as how the subject matter of the film is sparking curiosity from Kickstarter.com visitors. Openings (previously called Shamshara) – we have good news! We are nearly complete with script changes and will be back in the studio next week to do more filming. We’re still hoping to have everything wrapped up by late summer to fall 2011.-
